In the case of hosting, GoDaddy is simpler but expensive and does not offer some basic features such as SSL and backup. You have to pay additional charges for these features. They also constantly do upselling and you are going to receive more than 10 emails each month to buy additional products.
In short, GoDaddy is good for domain name registration but not good for hosting your websites.

Domain with store extension is available for just $1.99, org is available for $9.99 and all the other domain names are also affordable. GoDaddy domain performance is also excellent. The data transfer from the server will be fast. You only have to pay additional fees for SSL and WHOIS privacy.

GoDaddy offers lots of hosting plans that are affordable for one 1-year. GoDaddy hosting is secure, reliable, and has good uptime but you have to face upselling and higher renewal prices. GoDaddy offers Windows-based hosting that is easy to use and very few hosting providers offer it. Let’s do some technical GoDaddy review and see the hosting performance.
Performance
GoDaddy servers are fast and reliable. The USA servers are the fastest and give good speed. With all the hosting plans, you will also get a free domain. The average speed of the site is 1.94 seconds which is good but compared to Hostinger and BlueHost, it is not good. Other hosts’ sites can even load within 1 second.
Servers Speed
During my test, I found that the GoDaddy server’s response time is about 99.96% which is good but lower than the other hosting providers. Although GoDaddy guaranteed 99.99% uptime the actual results are a little different.
Sadly, they are not offering SSL and backup features with their hosting plans. You have to pay $63.99 per year to get the SSL and additional prices for the backup addon. SSL and backup both are compulsory parts of a site to secure your site. The lack of these two features did not make GoDaddy a good hosting choice.

The bad part is, there are lots of essential components that are missing and you have to pay additional charges for them such as SSL. They also do not offer a site migration service.
